Preserving Warren County Since 1825
Established in 1970, the museum's mission is to preserve Warren County artifacts and educate visitors about their importance since the county's inception in 1825. Located at 238 S Sunny Ln in Monmouth, the museum features seven diverse exhibits examining the agricultural, industrial, educational, and military history of the county and its residents. From spring through fall, all exhibits are open to the public with free admission, though visitors should note the museum operates with limited hours staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers. The museum offers something for every interest, from a comprehensive Civil War collection documenting Warren County's role in the conflict to a Country School Room that recreates rural education.
